Yolo Curve Contours

NEW ABDOMINAL PROTOCOL OPTION WITH 4 PADDLES
As the YOLO Curve continues to garner more and more interest amongst clinicians, we also continue to gain more experience and new insights into protocols, outcomes and patient perceptions on overall treatment experience. The addition of two more paddles has allowed for treatment times to be reduced and/or allowed for additional paddle placements that can provide more of a contouring effect to the treatment.
The abdominal treatment technique is being refined by clinicians and has begun to show a better overall contouring effect on the body. By changing the direction of the paddle placements and focusing specifically on upper and lower abdominal regions, in conjunction with the tradition circumferential treatment protocol, the results are improving dramatically. If we begin the procedure with 2 paddles placed on each flank and then progress toward the midline - with each sequential paddle placement there can often come a point where 2 paddles are treating the midline while the remaining 2 paddles are turned horizontally to focus more specifically on the upper and lower abdominal sections. See Figure A.
Alternately paddles can also be stacked in a horizontal fashion to very specifically address the mid abdominal region for those individuals that do not need as focused treatment on the love handles. See Figure B.
With the adoption of these new techniques we hope you will find continued success with your patients and carry on providing innovative solutions for lifestyle Change.
We are constantly looking to refine our protocols and treatment techniques. If you have specific treatment protocols that are working well within your clinics please let us know and we would be happy to incorporate them into future newsletters and share with the YOLO community.
